Product costing (Produktkalkylering)
Produkter som företaget tillverkat ska värderas till tillverkningskostnaden. Många tillverkningskostnader, som avskrivningar, lokalkostnader, förmanslöner, kan inte mätas per produkt utan måste fördelas via pålägg på basis av en mätbar påläggsbas. En kalkyl som beräknar kostnaden per produkt kallas produktkalkyl och har följande principiella innehåll:
  • + Mätbara kostnader per produkt för råvaror och komponenter
  • + Mätbara personalkostnader per produkt
  • + Pålägg för ej mätbara kostnader per produkt
  • = Tillverkningskostnad
